Daijō Tokiwa, Shina Bukkyō shiseki tōsaki (Tokyo: Ryuginsha, 1942).
This project, supported by an Early Career Fellowship from the Leverhulme Trust, examines the history of the destruction and reconstruction of Buddhist sacred spaces in modern China, and how these reconstructions played a role in the 'revival' of Buddhist religious culture. Also incorporates the Virtual Chinese Buddhist Monastery Project.
